micfil Bulkfilter for diesel and micfil Contamination Monitoring System (CMS)

“… tested several filter systems available on the market. Today and after extensive tests, the micfil ultra fine filtration system was selected.

After extensive on-site tests with the micfil FB 1000/900/32, we decided on the micfil HF 900.

These filters show impressive results. As below, a set of 32 elements filters about 18,000,000,000+ litres of diesel.

This is not the norm as we process very polluted diesel at times and in this case we have to be careful as the customer’s end user cannot afford to shut down the hundreds of heavy mining vehicles and excavators due to contaminated diesel.

The reason for installing these units (micfil CMS) is that the diesel fuel quality is logged.
The diesel fuel quality is recorded by the micfil CMS that are supplied to the microfiltration system because we had some problems with heavy dust concentrations on site it was very difficult to take accurate fuel samples without contamination of the diesel sample with airborne dust.

The micfil CMS particle counters are read morning, afternoon and evening on typical days.
