The micfil Bag filter is made of 100% stainless steel The fuel flows through the filter and into the “bag”. The bag collects the particles and contaminants down to 5 micron size (depending on the “bag” which is used) as the bag fills up it will also collect smaller particles as the larger particles start to add to the filtration function. When the bag is full it can be changed out for a clean bag. The micfil bag filter needs no further maintenance.
This Filter is very useful for fuel which has a high contamination level of large particles and is particularly good as a pre- filter to the micfil ultra fine filter.
